October 22, 2021 in the Training Center, "Center of Surgical Innovation ®" held a master class "Peripheral ВA ECMO"

Lecturer MK: Vysotsky Andriy: anesthesiologist, department of REVH, Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital of Kyiv.

The program was very busy:

- composition of the contour "from cannula to cannula", options are available

- cannulation techniques, choice of access point

- influence of VA EKMO on physiology - hemodynamic, respiratory changes

- syndrome "North-South" - prerequisites. ways to overcome

- protocol of initiation ВA EKMO - check-list

- protocol of weaning from ВA EKMO

- protocol for diagnosing problems in the circuit - "A-B-C" for ECMO

- Ultrasound monitoring of the patient during ECMO

- coagulation monitoring

Participants gained experience from practical skills of low cardiac output syndrome management in the operating room, in conditions as close as possible to real.

At the end of the MC, participants received SSI certificates.
